In June 2002 my good friend Peter Huntziker and i drove a 1977 Mercedes 508 through the Check Republic, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia to Finland from Muenchen.

Originally we wanted to drive to Helsinki via St. Petersburg but because we were too lazy to orginise a visa for Russia we took the ferry instead.

I thought it might be a interesting to take lots of photos of manhole covers or things lying on tables.

Thanks to all the friendly people we met on the way. Plus a special hello to the sherif of Riga and to the people who let us use there shower.
